To start off - an old gem of a series... It captures the hopes and aspirations so poignantly and perfectly, that it was a must-watch at 9pm Tuesdays (I think).
It starred Raghuvir Yadav who has a different dream in which he lives in a reality where he is someone else. He always has outlandish dreams - he is a middle class Indian who dreams big always. The dreams always start with a nervous tic of his head where he shakes it slightly back and forth and then we are led into the dream land.
I remember the title song which goes something like this - Mungherilal ke haseen sapne, sapnon mein apne, apnon ke sapne...
which translates to - 'the wonderful dreams of Mungherilal, which star his friends and family and are dreams of his friends and family...'
My favorite episode was the one in which he becomes a scientist and saves the world?
